Section 1
Health data we collect and why
SilverSafe AI, operated by Shieldsoft Technologies LLC, may process the following information linked to a person:
Medication reminder labels and schedules, and whether a reminder call or text was attempted, delivered, or acknowledged. We use this information to provide requested reminders and related caregiver status features.
Statements about health, emotional distress, suicide, or self-harm that a person chooses to make during a SAM call or text, together with relevant written transcripts, summaries, and responses. We use this information to respond in the conversation, maintain service continuity, provide crisis resources when SAM recognizes a concern, and operate enabled caregiver features.
Information derived from those interactions, such as a reminder-status record or a classification used to determine whether an enabled caregiver alert should be sent. We use it to operate the requested service and its alert settings.
SAM does not need a drug name to schedule a medication reminder. A name volunteered during a conversation may still appear in a written transcript.
Section 2
Sources
We receive this information from the senior’s calls and texts; information entered by the senior or a caregiver helping with the senior’s permission; reminder and caregiver settings; and records created when SAM attempts or responds to a call or text.
Section 3
Health data we share and with whom
Depending on the enabled connection and settings, we may share reminder status, activity summaries, or alerts with a caregiver designated for the senior. A reminder acknowledgment reports a response, not medication use. Some alerts classified as serious may be sent immediately despite a daily or weekly summary setting.
Providers that process information on our behalf may receive the information necessary to deliver calls and texts, host account and transcript records, and generate SAM’s responses. Their categories are communications providers, cloud-hosting providers, and AI or speech-processing providers. Twilio is our communications provider. We do not sell consumer health data or share it with advertising providers for targeted advertising.
Corporate affiliates receiving consumer health data: none.
Section 4
Your rights and how to use them
Where the Washington My Health My Data Act applies, you may ask whether we collect, share, or sell consumer health data about you; request access and a list of recipients where required; withdraw consent for future collection or sharing; and request deletion, subject to applicable exceptions. You may also appeal a denial.
Email support@silversafe.ai with “Consumer Health Data Request” in the subject line. We will use a secure method to verify your identity and respond as required by law. To appeal a decision, reply to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. You can also remove a caregiver connection or change available reminder and alert settings in your account to stop future sharing through those features.
