Section 1
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using SilverSafe AI and the SAM (Scam Assistance Monitor) service — including calling or texting (844) 8-ASKSAM — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Section 2
Description of service
SilverSafe AI provides SAM, an AI scam-protection companion designed to help users — particularly seniors and their families — detect and avoid scams. SAM can be reached by phone or text at (844) 8-ASKSAM. Users can:
- Call or text SAM about suspicious contacts
- Forward suspicious text messages for analysis
- Send screenshots of suspicious emails or messages
- Receive guidance on whether something is a scam and what to do next
Section 3
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. Caregivers may set up SAM on behalf of family members with their consent. By using SilverSafe AI, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Section 4
Service limitations
SAM is an AI-powered tool designed to assist with scam identification. Please understand:
- SAM provides guidance and analysis, not guaranteed scam detection
- SAM is not a replacement for law enforcement or financial advisors
- While our AI continuously learns and improves, no system is 100% accurate
- Users should exercise their own judgment alongside SAM's advice
- SAM does not block calls or messages — it analyzes what you share
Section 5
User responsibilities
When using our service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when interacting with SAM
- Not use the service for unlawful purposes or to harass others
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit SAM's AI systems
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Report any security vulnerabilities you discover
Section 6
Family Protection Plan
The Family Protection Plan is a premium subscription that includes:
- Unlimited SAM access for calls and texts
- Caregiver dashboard to monitor activity and threats
- Real-time alerts when potential scams are detected
- Protection history and activity logs
Free tier users receive limited calls and messages per month. Subscription pricing and billing terms will be communicated prior to purchase.
Section 7
Intellectual property
All content, features, and technology on SilverSafe AI — including SAM's AI models, branding, logos, and the SAM mascot — are the intellectual property of SilverSafe AI. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without written permission.
Section 8
Limitation of liability
SilverSafe AI and SAM are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses resulting from scams that SAM did not detect, or for any actions taken based on SAM's analysis. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
Section 9
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
Section 10
Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through our service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Section 11
SMS communications & mobile consent
By providing your mobile phone number and explicitly opting in via our SMS consent form, giving verbal consent during a call with SAM, or enabling SMS in your account settings, you agree to receive recurring SMS and MMS messages from SilverSafe AI at the number provided.
Types of messages
- Safety check-in messages
- Scam alerts and fraud warnings
- Account notifications and service updates
- Two-factor authentication codes
- Customer care responses
Frequency & cost
Message frequency varies with activity, scheduled check-ins, and your subscription. Subscribers may receive up to 10 messages per week. Standard message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan. SilverSafe AI does not charge for SMS. Consent to receive SMS is never a condition of purchase.
Opt-out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You'll receive one final confirmation and no further texts. To re-subscribe, reply START, YES, SUBSCRIBE, JOIN, or UNSTOP.

Supported carriers
AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, and most other US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information sharing
SilverSafe AI does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. Full handling is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility for SMS
You must be at least 18 to opt in. Caregivers may opt in on behalf of a senior with their explicit consent. By opting in, you confirm you are the account holder of the mobile number provided — or that you have permission from the account holder.
